This was was published in Rutherford’s Complete Collection of 200 Country Dances (1756) and reprinted in one of Bert Simons 1970s Kentish Hops pamphlets. I learned the tune in Kent in the late 1970s from the repertoire of the Oyster Ceilidh Band.
