The Priest and his Boots

Jack-in-the-Green track 2

We play this as part of a set of three tunes from English fiddle players. We had The Priest and his Boots from a 1970s recording of Fred ‘Pip’ Whiting, a left-handed fiddler from East Suffolk. It is actually an Irish jig which he learned in Australia in the 1920s.
